The Many Inaccessible Realms of Our Stellar Progenitor

View of the layers of the living being that is our sun. We see but the surface. Worshipping hands to the sky. Beneath that, a heretofore conceptually ingraspable form of life and consciousness is interwoven into the flames. Closer to the core, the furnace of our behemoth churns, pulses its mechanics and convection powers. The gravitationally mind-obliterating core of the sun holds energies and doorways not to be understood by human kind.

Transit

This is my reflection piece upon viewing the real life transit of Venus. It was a cloudy day without much good viewing time at all. We happened upon the roof of the Van Allen building downtown and looked through various space viewing instruments as the clouds broke up, leaving bits of clear sky. Filters allowed us to see the small dot of Venus passing between the sun and Earth. At one point the clouds formed a filter of their own and I could see it comfortably with my own eyes for the small instant I dared. I based this image on that experience.

Current Sightseeing Illustrated

This event occurs after the most recent book. It is sort of understood that we're not going to talk about it, as it may (or may not) find its way into the grand narrative, like how comic book covers aren't pictures directly from the book, but fall in there somewhere...

Hodge Household

This is a house commissioned for a specific family using symbols that are meaningful to them. It takes the form of their physical abode more than the universal square with a triangle on top.

Untitled House

Experimented with colors and background blocks here to create a more personal experience of home, family, and the pieces of life that are all just aspects of the one big thing. Everything. Companionship, community, activity, observation, thought, feeling, other.

Three Story House

Where are you in your home? What lives there with you? Where do you keep all the pieces of yourself and what is your security system rated? You are your place and it is you, from minute, petty experiences, to emotional human interactions, connectedness, creation, peace and enlightenment. Just walk up the stairs.

Bill Orcutt Show Poster

This was a very strange performance. Bill Orcutt defies explanation and his own audience. Do not tell him he "is very abrasive" while he is playing. He will yell at you. It was however a fantastic show at the Trumpet Blossom. Phil Ochs made the paper for these prints and then drew on them. Edition of 10. VERY LIMITED.
